The “AMDOR-10” additive is a cationic surfactant that ensures a high degree of adhesion between road bitumen and various mineral materials, including granite crushed stone and sand, which have increased acidic properties.
The “AMDOR-10” additive is an improved chemical analogue of the “AMDOR-9” additive and differs from it in improved organoleptic and operational properties.
"AMDOR-10" adhesive road additive is used in road construction to extend the service life and improve the quality of road surfaces, to improve technological performance in the production of asphalt mixtures.
The additive "AMDOR-10" is introduced into bitumen in an amount of 0.15-0.5%.
| Indicator name | Indicator value |
|---|---|
| 1. Appearance, color: | A viscous liquid ranging in color from light brown to dark brown* |
| 2. Adhesion to mineral material of bitumen containing 0.15% to 0.5**% of the additive | No worse than control sample No. 2 according to GOST 11508 |
| At least 4 points according to GOST 12801, clause 28 | |
| 3. Acid value, mg KOH/g of product, not more than: | 15 |
| 4. Mass fraction of water, %, not more than: | 2 |
| 5. Loss of flow temperature, °C, not higher than: | Minus 2 |
| 6. Density at 20°C, g/cm3 | From 0.930 to 1.150 |
* cloudiness of the additive during storage is allowed; it does not affect the performance and disappears when heated to 70°C and mixed.
** The amount of ADOR additive is determined by the nature of the mineral material, the quality of the bitumen, and the composition of the asphalt concrete mixture.
The introduction of the additive "AMDOR-9" into bitumen in an amount of 0.15 – 0.5* % allows:
The addition of “AMDOR-10” to bitumen is carried out at the asphalt concrete plant (ACP) immediately before the preparation of the asphalt concrete mixture. Existing ABP equipment, installations for the preparation of polymer-bitumen binders, as well as special installations for the introduction of additives can be used to introduce additives into bitumen.
It is very important to ensure an even distribution of the additive in bitumen!
The “AMDOR-10” additive is supplied in 216‑litre metal drums and 1 m3 polymer containers from warehouses in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Nizhny Tagil, and Tolyatti.
It is recommended to store the additive, which is packaged in containers, in enclosed storage facilities at ambient temperatures ranging from −40 °C to +50 °C.
The “AMDOR-10” additive is supplied to the countries of the European Union by the company “AMDOR-Baltics” - www.amdor-baltics.com
All products of the “AMDOR” group of companies are certified and have state registration.
