Road adhesive additive “AMDOR‑12”

Амдор
Product Characteristics

The AMDOR-12 additive is a product of the condensation of polyamines and higher fatty acids, used for asphalt concrete layers in roadways, airfields, and artificial structures.

The introduction of the ADMOR‑12 additive in an amount ranging from 0.4 % to 0.8 % makes it possible to significantly improve the adhesion of the organic binder to the surface of the mineral material (no worse than sample No. 2 — according to GOST 11508, and at least 4 points — according to GOST 12801) and to increase the durability of road organomineral pavements.

AMDOR-12 additive is a viscous liquid from light brown to dark brown in color, capable of easily mixing with heated organic binders to a homogeneous state (not classified as dangerous cargo - according to GOST 19433), flammable, low-volatile.

Parameters
Name of the indicator Indicator value
1. Appearance, color: Viscous liquid ranging in color from light brown to dark brown*
2. Adhesion to mineral material of bitumen containing 0.4% to 0.8**% of the additive No worse than control sample No. 2 according to GOST 11508
At least 4 points according to GOST 12801, clause 28
3. Acid value, mg KOH/g of product, not more than: 20
4. Loss of flow temperature, °C, not higher than: 10
5. Density at 20°C, g/cm3 From 0.900 to 1.150

* It is permissible for the additive to become cloudy during storage; this does not affect its performance and disappears when heated to 70°C and mixed.

** The amount of AMDOR‑12 additive is determined by the nature of the mineral material, the quality of the bitumen, and the composition of the asphalt concrete mixture.

It is very important to ensure uniform distribution of the additive in the bitumen!

To ensure effective adhesion, the recommended dosage should be 0.15 - 0.5% of the bitumen weight. The optimal dosage of the additive depends on the nature of the mineral material and the quality of bitumen and is determined in the road laboratory on the materials used.

Packaging and storage

The ADDITIVE AMDOR-12 is supplied in 216‑litre metal drums and 1 m3 polymer containers from warehouses in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Nizhny Tagil, and Tolyatti.

It is recommended to store the packaged additive in enclosed storage facilities at ambient temperatures ranging from −35 °C to +50 °C.

All products of the AMDOR group of companies are certified and have state registration.
