The “AMDOR-9” additive is a cationic surfactant that ensures a high degree of adhesion between road bitumen and various mineral materials, including granite crushed stone and sand, which have elevated acidic properties.
"AMDOR-9" adhesive road additive is used in road construction to extend the service life and improve the quality of road surfaces, to improve technological performance in the production of asphalt mixtures.
The additive "AMDOR-9" is introduced into bitumen in an amount of 0.15-0.5%.
| Indicator name | Indicator value |
|---|---|
| 1. Appearance, color: | A viscous liquid ranging in color from light brown to dark brown* |
| 2. Adhesion to the mineral material of bitumen containing 0.15% to 0.5**% of the additive | No worse than control sample No. 2 according to GOST 11508 |
| At least 4 points according to GOST 12801, clause 28 | |
| 3. Acid value, mg KOH/g of product, not more than: | 15 |

* допускается помутнение добавки при хранении, не влияющее на эффективность работы и исчезающее при нагреве до 70°C и перемешивании.
** the amount of the ADOR additive is determined by the nature of the mineral material, the quality of the bitumen, and the composition of the asphalt concrete mixture.
The introduction of the additive "AMDOR-9" into bitumen in an amount of 0.15 – 0.5* % allows:
The introduction of the “AMDOR‑9” additive into bitumen is carried out at the asphalt concrete plant (ACP) immediately before the preparation of the asphalt concrete mixture. The existing equipment at the ACP, plants for preparing polymer‑bitumen binder, as well as special installations for introducing additives can be used to introduce the additive into the bitumen.
It is very important to ensure uniform distribution of the additive in the bitumen!
The “AMDOR-9” additive is supplied in 216‑litre metal drums and 1 m3 polymer containers from warehouses in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Nizhny Tagil, and Tolyatti.
It is recommended to store the additive, which is packaged, in closed storage facilities at ambient temperatures ranging from −40 °C to +50 °C.
The “AMDOR-9” additive is supplied to the EU countries by the company “AMDOR-Baltics” – www.amdor-baltics.com
All products of the “AMDOR” group of companies are certified and have state registration.
