Road adhesion additive “AMDOR-20T” is a product based on organic esters that provides high adhesion properties to mineral materials of both acidic and basic nature.
The "AMDOR-20T" additive is dosed into bitumen in concentrations from 0.1 to 0.5%, depending on the type of crushed stone and the quality of bitumen, providing a surface coverage of 90-100%.
It is recommended for bitumen modification in bitumen plants and storage facilities before shipment to consumers, as well as to increase the adhesion of the polymer bitumen binder. The maximum effect of adding the additive is achieved with intensive mixing with bitumen for at least 5 hours at a temperature of 140-180 °C. As a result of the chemical interaction between the additive and the components of hot bitumen, the modifying properties increase, followed by their stabilization and preservation for several days.
Adding the additive to bitumen heated to 170-190 °C during the production of polymer‑bitumen binder accelerates the chemical interaction between the polymer and the components of the bitumen.
When introducing the additive directly into the bitumen supply line to the asphalt mixer, it is necessary to avoid mixing the “AMDOR‑20T” additive with amino‑containing additives.
The “AMDOR‑20T” additive is a mobile liquid with acidic properties.
The additive "AMDOR-20T" is characteristic of:
| Name of the indicator | Value of the indicator |
|---|---|
| 1. Appearance, color: | A viscous liquid ranging in color from light yellow to brown |
| 2. Loss of flow temperature, °C, not higher than: | Minus 5 |
| 3. Adhesion to the mineral material of bitumen containing 0.1% to 0.4*% of the additive | No worse than control sample No. 2 according to GOST 11508 |
| At least 4 points according to GOST 12801, clause 28 |
The “AMDOR-20T” additive is supplied in 227‑litre polyethylene barrels and 1 m3 polyethylene Eurocubes from warehouses in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Nizhny Tagil, and Tolyatti.
It is recommended to store the packaged additive in enclosed storage facilities at ambient temperatures ranging from −35 °C to +50 °C.
All products of the AMDOR group of companies are certified and have state registration.
